GROUP ICE SKATING LESSONS     

Our "Skate With US" Program follows the US Figure Skating guidelines.  Ages for children's lessons are 4 - 17 years old.  We run 4 cycles of group skating lessons throughout the year.  Our upcoming WINTER Session will run JAN. 5 - MARCH 10, 2012 for a 10 week cycle.  Registration for this cycle has begun and is ongoing until the 4th week of classes.

The make up week for the WINTER CYCLE for any missed lesson is March 15 & 17

WINTER CYCLE LESSONS WILL BE HELD ON THURSDAY EVENINGS OR SATURDAY MORNINGS

Terry Conners Skating School teaches group skating lessons for all levels for ages 4 thru Adult.  The lessons run for a 25 minute class and included is a 25 minute practice time.  See complete brochure for practice times and format and registration guidelines which is available at Terry Conners Rink Lobby.

What to Wear   

Skaters ages 3-7 are required to wear a bicycle helmet and gloves or mittens when learning to skate.  All children are urged to wear a helmet but must wear a hat or helmet and gloves or mittens.  Please also wear a warm jacket; skaters should wear warm clothing that is easy to move in and not restrictive.  Snow suits, knee pads are restrictive but are fine if the child is comfortable and can move freely.  Parents and siblings that are waiting in the lobby should also wear warm clothing; the ice rink is very cold!

It is recommended that levels Basic 3 and above purchase skates.  Skate rentals are used and reused by many different public session skaters are are difficult to maintain.  If the skater continues with lessons it is best to purchase their own skates.

Kinderclass C/Kinderclass D Lessons are for children ages 5 & 6 years old who have completed the previous level.  Classes are held on:

• Thursdays 5:50-6:15pm
• Saturdays 11:30-11:55am

Basic 1 (beginner) Lessons are for children ages 7-17 years old.  Classes are held on:

• Thursdays 5:20-5:45pm OR 6:20-6:45pm
• Saturdays 11:00-11:25am

Basic 2 is for ages 7-17 who completed the previous level.  Classes are held on:

• Thursdays 6:20-6:45pm
• Saturdays 11:30-11:55am

Basic 3 is for ages 7-17 who completed the previous level.  Classes are held on:

• Thursdays 6:20-6:45pm
• Saturdays 11:55-12:20pm

Basic 4 & Basic 5 are for ages 7-17 who completed the previous level.  Classes are held on:

• Thursdays 5:50-6:15pm OR 6:45-7:15pm
• Saturdays 11:55-12:20pm

Basic 6 is for ages 7-17 who completed the previous level.  Classes are held on:

• Thursdays 5:50-6:15pm
• Saturdays 11:30-11:55am

Basic 7 & Basic 8 is for ages 7-17 who completed the previous level.  Classes are held on:

• Thursdays 6:45-7:10pm
• Saturdays 11:55-12:20pm

FreeSkate 1 - 4 Classes are held on:

• Thursdays 6:45-7:10pm

FreeSkate 5 - 8 Classes are held on:
